independance day or no-dependance day????

Well guys if u forgot then yesterday (15th august2009) was an independance day for our conutry. we were suppose to celebrate it but alas...we forogt......cause we were busy dealing with swine flu....

For the first time yesterday it seemed as if independance day was just a holiday and nothing else. No tiranga erected on roof tops...no early morning march near the India gate....no waking up early just to hear that lovely speech that prime-minister of India will be making. just an holiday....

india got free just to give a holiday ..... cool....next independance day go for a hike plz..!!! thats better [:d] !!!!
